Updates

Moved to my paid hosting to remove ad-banner.
Fixed the footer graphic (which had artifacts) with some of our favorite characters. Will probably work on it more.
Changed the stars rating system to the SMB power-up stars. For some reason this is taking awhile to update in the cache.
Added the platform information to individual posts and to the list of games on individual player pages.
Fixed the permissions error that caused embed codes to turn into links.
95 of the videos have been posted.
The sidebar now lists the top 5 posters with a link to the complete list. The complete list is a tag cloud, with Taxidermistpasta’s name appearing fucking huge because he has done a shit-ton of VP videos.
Platform list now includes number of videos per console.
Opened registration for contributors.
The domain is aliased in such a way that http://www.productsofanidlemind.com will take you to the homepage, and http://www.productsofanidlemind.com/anyfuckingthingyoutype will load the last 25 posts. I do not know why this is, but I’m not sure this is really an issue, just a “huh, that’s weird”.
Opened frontpage to comments, questions, suggestions, etc.

I’m still trying to figure out why authors names are randomly dropped on the individual console pages. It has something to do with WordPress’s loops and, well, I am to web design as Dr. Frankenstein is to modern medicine:I just cobble shit together without worrying to much how the individual parts work. This will be fixed, one way or the other, even if I have to use a different tagging module or do multiple loops.
Finish posting the videos in this thread. I have 70ish to go, so I’m over halfway there.
I’ve requested a greasemonkey script from the TinyAppz thread and from the userscripts.org site. Basically, when I right click on a video link (youtube, dailymotion, googlevideo, et al) it will copy the embed code automatically, so I don’t have to load a bunch of pages with videos to do each post. I could go to the OP, right click an entry, paste in WordPress, publish, repeat.
Add more favorite characters to the header graphic and make it less Mario-centric.
